Sir Hugh of Boconnoc was born about 1427.1 Sir Hugh of Boconnoc's father was Sir Hugh of Haccombe Courtenay and his mother was Matilda De Beaumont. His paternal grandparents were Sir Edward Courtenay and Emeline Dauney. He had a brother and a sister, named Sir Edward and Margaret. He was the youngest of the three children. He had two half-sisters named Alianor and Joan. He died on May 4th, 1471 in Battle of Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.1 General Notes
