Sir John Champernowne 
Sir John was born in 1458.1 Sir John's father was William Champernowne and his mother was Elizabeth Chidderleigh. His paternal grandparents were Hugh Champernowne and Alice Bois; his maternal grandparents were John Chidderleigh and Alis Moore. He had a sister named Joan. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 45 on April 30th, 1503 in Ashton Rohart, Oxford.1 General Notes
