Katherine was born about 1365.1 Katherine's father was Sir Giles Daubeney and her mother was Alianore De Wilington. Her paternal grandparents were Sir Ralph D'Aubeney and Alice Montagu; her maternal grandparents were Sir Henry De Wilington and Isabel De Walesbreu. She had a brother named Sir Giles. Based on the approximate birthdates, Katherine might be daughter of the first Sir Giles Daubeney and Alianore de Wilington. The IGI seems to agree, although it does not connect the two Katherines, either.
