Josiah Whitcomb 
Josiah was born in 1638 in Dorchester, Suffolk Co, Massachusetts.1 Josiah's father was John Whitcomb and his mother was Frances Cogan. His maternal grandparents were Henry Cogan and Joane Boridge. He had five brothers and four sisters, named James, Job, John, Jonathan, Robert, Catherine, Abigail, Mary and Joane. He died at the age of 80 on March 21st, 1718 in Lancaster, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts. He was buried in The Old-Common Burial Ground, Lancaster, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts.2 2 General Notes
