Frances' father was Henry Cogan and her mother was Joane Boridge.  She was an only child.  She died on May 17th, 1671 in Lancaster, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts.1

‌Frances and John were married in a religious ceremony on November 20th, 1623 in Church of St. Mary Magdalen, Taunton, co. Somerset, England.2   They had six sons and four daughters, named Josiah, James, Job, John, Jonathan, Robert, Catherine, Abigail, Mary and Joane.
