James Whitcomb

James was born in 1640.  James' father was John Whitcomb and his mother was Frances Cogan.  His maternal grandparents were Henry Cogan and Joane Boridge. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Josiah, Job, John, Jonathan, Robert, Catherine, Abigail, Mary and Joane.  He died at the age of 46 on November 23rd, 1686.¹
