Mary Katherine Land 
Mary Katherine was born in 1838 in Noxubee County, Mississippi. Mary Katherine's father was Burell Land and her mother was Lucy Matilda Williams. Her paternal grandparents were Littleberry Land and Mary "Molly" McLemore. She had five brothers and two sisters, named James D., Littleberry John, Henry Grey, William Burt, David A., Mary Jane and Evalina. She was the second youngest of the eight children.-
