David A. Land 
David A. was born in 1837 in Mississippi. David A.'s father was Burell Land and his mother was Lucy Matilda Williams. His paternal grandparents were Littleberry Land and Mary "Molly" McLemore. He had four brothers and three sisters, named James D., Littleberry John, Henry Grey, William Burt, Mary Jane, Mary Katherine and Evalina. He was the third youngest of the eight children.-
