William H. Hargrove 
William H. was born on July 21st, 1857 in Edgecombe Co. NC. William H.'s father was Samuel Henry Hargrove and his mother was Lucinda Killebrew. His paternal grandparents were Duncan Hargrove and Sally Land; his maternal grandparents were Joshua Killebrew and Sarah Killebrew. He had two brothers and five sisters, named George S., Robert Gray, Mary, Lucy, Lucinda, Prudence and Sallie. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 16 on December 24th, 1873 in Edgecombe Co. NC.-
