George S. Hargrove 
George S. was born on August 20th, 1854 in Edgecombe Co. NC. George S.'s father was Samuel Henry Hargrove and his mother was Lucinda Killebrew. His paternal grandparents were Duncan Hargrove and Sally Land; his maternal grandparents were Joshua Killebrew and Sarah Killebrew. He had two brothers and five sisters, named William H., Robert Gray, Mary, Lucy, Lucinda, Prudence and Sallie. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at 10 months old on June 30th, 1855 in Edgecombe Co. NC.-
