Mary Hargrove 
Mary was born on May 7th, 1852 in Edgecombe Co. NC. Mary's father was Samuel Henry Hargrove and her mother was Lucinda Killebrew. Her paternal grandparents were Duncan Hargrove and Sally Land; her maternal grandparents were Joshua Killebrew and Sarah Killebrew. She had three brothers and four sisters, named George S., William H., Robert Gray, Lucy, Lucinda, Prudence and Sallie. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 23 on January 3rd, 1876 in Edgecombe Co. NC.-
