Joscelin de was born about 1127 in Egmanton,Nottinghamshire,England and his baptism took place in Also Of Louvaine,,Belgium.  Joscelin de's father was Godfrey "A La Barbe" Lorraine Duke and his mother was Clemence De Bourgogne.  His paternal grandparents were Henri II, Comte de Louvain and Adele (Alix) of Thuringia Countess Beteau; his maternal grandparents were Guillaume I "The Great" of Bourgogne Count/Bourgogne and Stephanie (Etienette) of Barcelona. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Godfrey II de, Adeliza Of and Ida Princess Of.  He died before 1180 in Egmanton,Nottinghamshire,England.  He was buried before September 29th, 1180.

‌Joscelin de and Agnes were married in a religious ceremony in 1168 in <,Egmanton,Nottingham,England>.1   They had five sons and four daughters, named Joscelaine, Henry, Robert, Ralph, Henry I de, Eleanor, Alice, Maud and Lucy.
