Willie Waldrip 
Willie was born on April 30th, 1897 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Willie's father was John William Waldrip and her mother was Mary E. Knox. Her paternal grandparents were Asa Melton Waldrip and Martha Thomas Sears. She had five sisters named Jessie, Tommie Ruth, Robbie, Clyde and Fannie. She died at the age of 76 in April 1973 in AL.1 General Notes

"Miss Willie Waldrip, left Tuesday morning for Atlanta, GA., where she
will enter a millinery training school. Miss Willie is gifted with most
excellent taste, and we all predict for her to be quite an artist in her
new calling. And all wish for her success. Miss Ollie Miller, of Route
3, joined Miss Waldrip at the railroad and went to Atlanta for the same
