Clyde Waldrip 
Clyde was born on October 14th, 1900 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Clyde's father was John William Waldrip and her mother was Mary E. Knox. Her paternal grandparents were Asa Melton Waldrip and Martha Thomas Sears. She had five sisters named Jessie, Tommie Ruth, Robbie, Willie and Fannie. She died at the age of 33 on May 24th, 1934 in Goodwater, Coosa Co., AL.1 General Notes

Local and Personal
Miss Clyde Waldrip who has been teaching at Bradford, is at home for a

FORMER ROCKFORD WOMAN DIED IN GOODWATER HOME
Rockford was saddened last week when news was received that Mrs.
Glenn Eddings, the former Miss Clyde Waldrip, had passed away at the home
of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Waldrip in Goodwater.
Mrs. Eddings was born and reared in Rockford and had a host of
friends here. She moved with her parents to Goodwater several year ago.
After graduating from the T. C. I. School of nursing in Birmingham,
she was married to Mr. Eddings and moved to El Paso, Texas. During the
month of February, she was injured in an automobile wreck there and never
fully recovered.
About a month ago, she came on a visit to her parents in Goodwater
and was there when death came.
Surviving is her husband, her parents, and four sister, Miss Robbie
Waldrip, Mrs. Jesse Welch, Mrs. Tommie Hamilton and Miss Willie Waldrip.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning from Goodwater Methodist
church with Rev. A. J. Notestine officiating.(1)
