Minneola Rushing 
Minneola was born in November 1876 in Coffee Co., AL.1 Minneola's father was Francis Marion Rushing and her mother was Frances Virginia Yelverton. Her paternal grandparents were Malachi Rushing and Telitha Dykes; her maternal grandparents were Gappa Talmadge Yelverton and Martha Brown Simmons. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William F. McDonald, John Burrell, Gappa Malachi, Francis Marion, Jr., Martha Alabama, Frances Miriam and Delia. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 82 in 1958 in AL. She was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Elba, Coffee Co., AL.1 1 General Notes

Aunt Nolie (Minneola) was in good health until she died. She made
wonderful blackberry and scuppernong wine. Her funeral was at Granny and
Grandaddy Ham's house. Louise Liebert never married and lived with her
mother. Willie was a piano player in Miami when I first remember him. He
got cancer and came home and lived at Granny and Grandaddy's until he
died. I'll try to remember other things and write down more dates.
