Her paternal grandparents were William Cain Rushing and Mary Ann Rushing. She had five brothers and four sisters, named William Jack, Herbert H., Eddie Oscar, Grover Cleveland, Earnest J., Lavenia S., Alma P., Dona Carl and Lilla May. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 89 in 1967 in AL. She was buried in Good Hope Church Cemetery, Pike Co., AL.1 1 -
