John Walker was born on December 6th, 1880 in Coosa Co., AL.1 John Walker's father was John Kirkham McEwen and his mother was Catherine Dandridge Walker. His paternal grandparents were George Washington McEwen and Mary Catherine Sears. He had two brothers and three sisters, named George, Charles Wesley, Sr., Archie D., Mollie Cleveland and Kate. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 77 on December 12th, 1957 in Talladega Co., AL.
