Frank Houston was born on July 22nd, 1879 in AL.1 Frank Houston's father was Francis Marion McEwen and his mother was Lena Olive Ransome Melton. His paternal grandparents were Jasper Kirkham McEwen and Mary Ann Canada; his maternal grandparents were Jesse Mercer Melton and Nancy E. Worrell. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Jepe Kirkham, John Thomas, George Robert, William Sanford, Benjamin Franklin, Sarah Louisa, Susan B., Nancy Josephine, Mary Ann Katherine and Ida Lee.
