Benjamin Franklin was born on November 25th, 1838 in Tallapoosa Co., AL.1 Benjamin Franklin's father was Jasper Kirkham McEwen and his mother was Mary Ann Canada. His paternal grandparents were Robert Bort McEwen and Rachel Hawkins; his maternal grandparents were Jesse Canada and Sarah Jones. He had four brothers and eight sisters, named George Washington, Andrew Jackson, Francis Marion, Robert Jasper, Elizabeth Amanda, Mary Ann, Almeda Emaline, Minerva Rachel, Virginia Caroline, Martha Margaret, Newton Canida and Sarah Louisa. He was the fifth youngest of the thirteen children. He died at 7 months old on July 13th, 1839 in Tallapoosa Co., AL.1 -
