Willa Mae was born in TX.1 Willa Mae's father was William Thomas Johnson and her mother was Minnie Lee Spradley. Her maternal grandparents were Clayton Louis Pinkerton Webster Spradley and Josephine J. Brock. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Preston C., Barrett Brooks, Julia Beaulah, Lucille and Margaret. She died in October 1992 in Rosenberg, TX.1 General Notes

She operated a smal store in Rosenberg several years. It was started by
her brother, Preston C. Johnson. The store was 30 x 70. She took over
when Preston started his larger store of general clothing in Pasadena,
TX,, and lived in Houston.
