Christened in Baptist Church.  Occupation: Farmer, Soldier.
In 1872 he migrated to Texas and resided with Bryant and Emmaline
Spradley initially.  He lived the rest of his life in Milam County until
his death there about 1930. (Note: one source has his death date in Dec
1942.) He was the pastor of "Little River Baptist Church" near Cameron,
TX and earned quite a reputation as a preacher in the area.  He may be
buried at the Little River Baptist Church Cemetery.
He was a Baptist Minister in Milam County, Texas, and was at the Little
River Baptist Church near Cameron for several years. A member of his
congregation, John Alexander Bailey kept a "JOURNAL" of most of the
things he did among people. He had four volumes. A descendant of his
inherited these and she found some items written in one about Rev. Webb
Spradley.

Item: Jody Josephine Brock Spradley died, and was buried January 27, 1934
at Little River Baptist Church Cemetery, Milam County, Texas.
Item: November 7, 1914, we went to a box supper at Tavern Grove. A small
crowd but we had a nice time. Cake brought $17.00, boxes about $10.00.
Miss Spradley (Minnie) won first prize. Miss Nettie 2nd and Miss Millie
Alice Denson 3rd prize.
Item: May 16, 1915 I paid $2.00 cash to Brother Spradley on salary. May
31, 1915 paid Brother Spradley $2.50 on salary, my part.
Item: January 27, 1934 Sister Spradley, wife of Preacher Brother
Spradley, Jody Brock Spradley died.
