Edmonia Harding 
Edmonia was born on February 21st, 1914 in Spotsylvania Co., VA.1 Edmonia's father was Parmenco Claylos Harding and her mother was Florence C. Gardner. Her paternal grandparents were Lewis G. Harding and Elizabeth Jane Yancey. She had nine brothers and a sister, named Ernest Crittenden, Phillip, William, McKioley, Theodore R., Robert, Joseph B., Chester R., Marion Gardner and Myrtle Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 82 on May 27th, 1996 in Spotsylvania Co., VA.1 General Notes

"Mrs. Edmonia B. Stone
A funeral for Mrs. Edmonia Brockman Stone, 82 of Fredericksbrug will
be held at 2 p. m. Thursday at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service,
Fredericksburg Chapel. The Rev. Robert Sizemore and the Rev. Cliff
Reynolds will officiate, and burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Howard Harding, Ray Harding, Ted Harding, Frank
Harding, and Jason Ayers.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service time
Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Stone died Monday, May 27, at her residence.
Born in Spotsylvania County, she had retired as a cashier at Safeway
in Orange County. Before that, she was a postmaster at the Logan Post
office. She was the Widow of James B. Stone, Jr.
She was a member of Goshen Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara C. Strickler of Fredericksburg;
and one granddaughter.
The family request that expressions of sympathy take the form of
contributions to the Spotsylvania Rescue Squad, Box 101, Spotsylvania,
Va. 22553; to Hospice Support Care, 1616 Stafford Ave., Fredericksburg,
Va. 22401; or to Goshen Baptist Church, 9800 Gordon Road, Spotsylvania,
Va. 22553. "

Step-Grandson Ron Bridges on 27 Mar 2000. My Mother, La Rue Sullivan
placed the clipping there in Myrtle's Bible.
