William was born in Stafford Co., VA.1 William's father was Charles Harding and his mother was Rachel Lunsford. His paternal grandparents were William Harding and Miss Unknown; his maternal grandfather was Moses Lunsford. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Charles H., Thomas, George, Moses, Lewis, Jane, John Scott, Ann and Nancy. He died on February 18th, 1826 in Stafford Co., VA.1 General Notes

HARDING's children were listed in the federal census as living @@Stafford
Co., VA, this year. However, of the 4 WILLIAM HARDING households listed
