M. Clyde was born on February 17th, 1898 in Hanover, Coosa Co., AL.1 M. Clyde's father was Edward P. Dobson and his mother was Martha Ann Murphy. His paternal grandparents were Rainer B. Dobson and Harriet Ann Carlisle; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Alexander Murphy and Tullelah Belle Adams. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Walter Claude, George, Clavys, Annie Belle, Hattie E. and Cleo. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 67 on September 14th, 1965 in AL. He was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Sylacauga, Talladega Co., AL.1 1 -
