Mary Eliza was born on September 18th, 1857 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Mary Eliza's father was Uriah Addison Darden and her mother was Mary Logan. Her paternal grandparents were Moses Darden and Nancy Wynne; her maternal grandparents were H. Alexander Logan and Martha Ann Smith. She had six brothers and four sisters, named James, Frank, John Alexander, William Stephen, Arthur Addison, Joseph Hubbard, Martha Jane, Nancy Emmaline, Sara Virginia and Amanda Belle. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 71 on March 5th, 1929 in Coosa Co., AL. She was buried in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Coosa Co., AL..1 1 -
