Joseph Hubbard Darden 
Joseph Hubbard was born on October 25th, 1872 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Joseph Hubbard's father was Uriah Addison Darden and his mother was Mary Logan. His paternal grandparents were Moses Darden and Nancy Wynne; his maternal grandparents were H. Alexander Logan and Martha Ann Smith. He had five brothers and five sisters, named James, Frank, John Alexander, William Stephen, Arthur Addison, Martha Jane, Mary Eliza, Nancy Emmaline, Sara Virginia and Amanda Belle. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 78 on January 7th, 1951 in Coosa Co., AL. He was buried in Andrew's Chapel Methodist Cemetery, Hanover, Coosa Co., AL.1 1 General Notes

"Hon. J. H. Darden of Goodwater, is now the editor and business manage of
the Goodwater Enterprise. He is plenty able and competent to give
Goodwater a good paper that would be a credit even to Birmingham, or
