Jewel Olie Darden 
Jewel Olie was born on March 20th, 1905 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Jewel Olie's father was John Austin Darden and her mother was Vashti Olie Sellers. Her paternal grandparents were John Alexander Darden and Georgia Elizabeth Webb; her maternal grandparents were Sampson Elija Sellers and Martha Jane Johnston. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Eschol Sampson, John Austin, Jr., Norman Delmas, Mabel Clara and Martha Elizabeth. She was the third oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 78 on July 31st, 1983 in Goodwater, Coosa Co., AL.1 General Notes
