Eschol Sampson was born on January 9th, 1903 in Tuscaloosa Co., AL.1 Eschol Sampson's father was John Austin Darden and his mother was Vashti Olie Sellers. His paternal grandparents were John Alexander Darden and Georgia Elizabeth Webb; his maternal grandparents were Sampson Elija Sellers and Martha Jane Johnston. He had two brothers and three sisters, named John Austin, Jr., Norman Delmas, Mabel Clara, Jewel Olie and Martha Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 83 on May 2nd, 1986 in Birmingham, Jefferson Co, AL.1 -
