Zilphia Cobb 
Zilphia was born in 1828 in Bertie Co., NC.1 Zilphia's father was John Hardy Cobb and her mother was Harriet W. Castellaw. Her paternal grandparents were John Cobb and Sarah Capehart; her maternal grandparents were John Dawson Castellaw and Zilpha Spruill. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Samuel Alexander, Leonard Decatur, John Charles Warren, William Thomas, Monroe Clinton, Simon Amherst, Robert Davis, Sarah Frances, Mourning Adeline and Harriet Ann Justina. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 7 in 1835 in NC.1 -
