Matilda Barrett 
Matilda was born on March 28th, 1843 in Pontypool, Monmouthshire, England.1 Matilda's father was WILLIAM BARRETT and her mother was Phoebe Colbourne. Her paternal grandparents were JOHN BARRETT and SUSANNAH MATHEWS. She had six brothers and four sisters, named George, James, Edwin, Samuel, Charles, John, Ann (Emily), Sarah, Martha and Mary. She was the second oldest of the eleven children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, John, Thomas, Sarah Ann, ELIZA ANN and Emma. She died at the age of 78 on September 28th, 1921.1 -
