George Barrett 
George was born on June 9th, 1845 in Pontypool, Monmouthshire, England.1 George's father was WILLIAM BARRETT and his mother was Phoebe Colbourne. His paternal grandparents were JOHN BARRETT and SUSANNAH MATHEWS. He had five brothers and five sisters, named James, Edwin, Samuel, Charles, John, Ann (Emily), Matilda, Sarah, Martha and Mary. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, John, Thomas, Sarah Ann, ELIZA ANN and Emma. He died at the age of 44 on February 1st, 1890 in Rhymney, Wales.1 -
