James Barrett 
James was born on April 9th, 1847 in Pontypool, Monmouthshire, England.1 James' father was WILLIAM BARRETT and his mother was Phoebe Colbourne. His paternal grandparents were JOHN BARRETT and SUSANNAH MATHEWS. He had five brothers and five sisters, named George, Edwin, Samuel, Charles, John, Ann (Emily), Matilda, Sarah, Martha and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, John, Thomas, Sarah Ann, ELIZA ANN and Emma. He died at the age of 77 on April 8th, 1925.1 -
