Thomas Barrett 
Thomas was born on August 29th, 1834 in Pontypool, Monmouthshire, England.1 Thomas' father was WILLIAM BARRETT and his mother was SUSAN ANN JAMES. His paternal grandparents were JOHN BARRETT and SUSANNAH MATHEWS; his maternal grandparents were CHARLES JAMES and SUSAN THOMAS. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Sarah Ann, ELIZA ANN and Emma. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had six half-brothers and five half-sisters, named George, James, Edwin, Samuel, Charles, John, Ann (Emily), Matilda, Sarah, Martha and Mary. He died at the age of 89 in 1923.1 -
