Ann (Emily) was born on March 3rd, 1842 in Pontypool, Monmouthshire, England.1 Ann (Emily)'s father was WILLIAM BARRETT and her mother was Phoebe Colbourne. Her paternal grandparents were JOHN BARRETT and SUSANNAH MATHEWS. She had six brothers and four sisters, named George, James, Edwin, Samuel, Charles, John, Matilda, Sarah, Martha and Mary. She was the oldest of the eleven children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, John, Thomas, Sarah Ann, ELIZA ANN and Emma. She died at the age of 74 in 1916.1 -
