Thomas de Monthermer was born in 1301. Thomas de Monthermer's father was Ralph de Earl of Gloucester (styled) and his mother was Joan of Acre Plantagenet Cts de Gloucester. His maternal grandparents were Edward I Longshanks King of England and Eleanora de Castile Cts de Ponthieu. He had a brother and two sisters, named Edward de Montthermer, Mary and Joan. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Gilbert de Clare, Margaret, Eleanor and Elizabeth. He died at the age of 39 in 1340 in Battle of Sluys.Death Notes
