Alphonso IX the Slobberer de LeUn was born on August 15th, 1171 in Zamora, LeUn, Spain.  Alphonso IX the Slobberer de LeUn's father was Ferdinand II de LeUn King of LeUn and his mother was Urraca Alfonsez de Portugal Cts de Portugal.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 59 on September 24th, 1230 in Villanueva de Soria, Castile.
