Eleanor de was born before October 17th, 1305 in Knaresborough, Yorkshire, England.  Eleanor de's father was Humphrey VIII de Bohun , Earl Hereford & Essex and her mother was Elizabeth Plantagenet , Princess of England.  Her paternal grandparents were Humphrey VII de Bohun , Earl Hereford & Essex and Maud de Fiennes; her maternal grandparents were Edward I Plantagenet "Longshanks" King O England and Eleanor Princess of Castile. She had a brother and a sister, named William de and Margaret de.  She was the oldest of the three children.  She died on October 7th, 1363 in Ireland.

‌Eleanor de and James were married in a religious ceremony on October 17th, 1327 in Knaresborough, Yorkshire, England.  They had a son and a daughter, named James and Petronella (Pernel).
