Philetus Pepper 
Philetus was born on February 19th, 1835 in Castile, Genese Co, NY. Philetus' father was Jacob Riley Pepper and his mother was Susan Taylor. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named John, Stephen V., Jacob Riley, Elnathan, Betsy, Emaline, Clarissa, Lovina, Aurillia, Susan and Mary Lucinda. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.
