Clarissa Pepper 
Clarissa was born on March 27th, 1831 in Assian, Allegany Co, NY. Clarissa's father was Jacob Riley Pepper and her mother was Susan Taylor. She had five brothers and six sisters, named John, Stephen V., Philetus, Jacob Riley, Elnathan, Betsy, Emaline, Lovina, Aurillia, Susan and Mary Lucinda. She was the fifth oldest of the twelve children.
