Betsy Pepper 
Betsy was born on April 25th, 1824 in Assian, Allegany Co, NY. Betsy's father was Jacob Riley Pepper and her mother was Susan Taylor. She had five brothers and six sisters, named John, Stephen V., Philetus, Jacob Riley, Elnathan, Emaline, Clarissa, Lovina, Aurillia, Susan and Mary Lucinda. She was the oldest of the twelve children.
