James Anderson Mitchell 
James Anderson was born on December 20th, 1854 in Bossier Parish, la. James Anderson's father was Joseph Sanford Mitchell and his mother was Caroline Emily Odom. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Man Mitchell and Sarah; his maternal grandparents were Asa Odom and Louisa Vicey Waller. He had seven brothers, and also four siblings of unknown gender named John William, Thomas L, Francis I, Elijah Washington, Ambrose Yates, Joseph, Walton Jacob, Mitchell, Mitchell, Mitchell and Mitchell. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died due to Cerebral Hemmorhage due to Hypertension at the age of 86 on December 10th, 1941 in Plain Dealing, Bossier Parish, la.General Notes
