William Bowden

William was born on July 11th, 1835 in TN.¹   William's father was John S. Bowden.  His paternal grandfather was John Bodine. He had five brothers and six sisters, named James H., John W., Allen B., Charles Layfette, Wiley Franklin, Sarah A., Mary Carolina, Elizabeth J., Isabell, Mary L. and Manta A..  He was the oldest of the twelve children.  William is no longer alive.¹
