John W. Bowden

John W. was born on January 7th, 1844 in AR.¹   John W.'s father was John S. Bowden.  His paternal grandfather was John Bodine. He had five brothers and six sisters, named William, James H., Allen B., Charles Layfette, Wiley Franklin, Sarah A., Mary Carolina, Elizabeth J., Isabell, Mary L. and Manta A..  He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children.  John W. is no longer alive.¹
