Mary Carolina Bowden

Mary Carolina was born on November 11th, 1839 in Lawrence Co., TN.¹   Mary Carolina's father was John S. Bowden.  Her paternal grandfather was John Bodine. She had six brothers and five sisters, named William, James H., John W., Allen B., Charles Layfette, Wiley Franklin, Sarah A., Elizabeth J., Isabell, Mary L. and Manta A..  She was the third oldest of the twelve children.  Mary Carolina is no longer alive.¹
