James H. Bowden

James H. was born on January 31st, 1842 in AR.¹   James H.'s father was John S. Bowden.  His paternal grandfather was John Bodine. He had five brothers and six sisters, named William, John W., Allen B., Charles Layfette, Wiley Franklin, Sarah A., Mary Carolina, Elizabeth J., Isabell, Mary L. and Manta A..  He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children.  James H. is no longer alive.¹
