Allen B. Bowden

Allen B. was born on February 14th, 1848 in Pope Co., AR.¹   Allen B.'s father was John S. Bowden.  His paternal grandfather was John Bodine. He had five brothers and six sisters, named William, James H., John W., Charles Layfette, Wiley Franklin, Sarah A., Mary Carolina, Elizabeth J., Isabell, Mary L. and Manta A..  He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.  Allen B. is no longer alive.¹
