Laura Ann Pollitt 
Laura Ann was born on January 20th, 1851 in Liverpool Township, Fulton County, Illinois.1 Laura Ann's father was Alvin Oliver Pollitt and her mother was Emaline C. Estes. Her paternal grandfather was James Pollitt; her maternal grandparents were Lewis Estes and Anna Farris. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Oliver P., John A., James L., Alexander, William Henry, Charles H., Mary Caroline and Dora Josephine. She was the second oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 65 on January 30th, 1916. She was buried in February 1916 in Banner Township, Fulton County, Illinois.1 1 -
