Alexander Pollitt 
Alexander was born on August 8th, 1859 in Liverpool Township, Fulton County, Illinois.1 Alexander's father was Alvin Oliver Pollitt and his mother was Emaline C. Estes. His paternal grandfather was James Pollitt; his maternal grandparents were Lewis Estes and Anna Farris. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Oliver P., John A., James L., William Henry, Charles H., Laura Ann, Mary Caroline and Dora Josephine. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 78 on January 17th, 1938 in Liverpool Township, Fulton County, Illinois.1 -
