Dora Josephine was born on July 27th, 1872 in Liverpool Township, Fulton County, Illinois.1 Dora Josephine's father was Alvin Oliver Pollitt and her mother was Emaline C. Estes. Her paternal grandfather was James Pollitt; her maternal grandparents were Lewis Estes and Anna Farris. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Oliver P., John A., James L., Alexander, William Henry, Charles H., Laura Ann and Mary Caroline. She was the youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 74 on November 8th, 1946 in Lewiston, Fulton Co., IL. She was buried in November 1946 in Canton, IL.1 1 -
