John A. Pollitt 
John A. was born on December 9th, 1852 in Liverpool Township, Fulton County, Illinois.1 John A.'s father was Alvin Oliver Pollitt and his mother was Emaline C. Estes. His paternal grandfather was James Pollitt; his maternal grandparents were Lewis Estes and Anna Farris. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Oliver P., James L., Alexander, William Henry, Charles H., Laura Ann, Mary Caroline and Dora Josephine. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 62 on August 21st, 1915 in Banner Township, Fulton County, Illinois.1 -
